a congenital disorder associated with port-wine stains of the face, glaucoma, seizures, mental retardation with only one side of the brain usually being affected
*Sjogen's Disorder*
an autoimmune disorder in which the glands that produce tears and saliva are destroyed
*Rett Syndrome*
neurodevelopmental disorder of the grey matter of the brain, characterized by small hands and feet and deceleration of the rate of head growth
*Photic Sneeze Reflex*
a condition of uncontrollable sneezing in response to stimulus, such as looking at bright lights
*Pick's Disease*
rare disease that causes progressive destruction of nerve cells in the brain. Leads to loss of speech and dementia
*Misophonia*
disorder in which negative experiences are triggered by specific sounds, soft or loud
*Maple Syrup Urine Disease*
inherited disorder in which the body is unable to process certain protein building blocks properly, gets its name from distinctive sweet order of sufferers' urine
*Kabuki Syndrome*
disorder characterized by arched eyebrows and long openings of the eyelids. symptoms also include developmental delay and intellectual disability
*Melkersson-Rosenthal Syndrome*
disorder characterized by recurring facial paralysis, swelling of the face and the development of folds in the tongue
